Shopping

In addition to the above, we provide a number of shopping opportunities throughout the year.

We hold fundraising bazaars throughout the year, where amongst other goodies you can buy jewellery, plants, home baking, bric-a-brac, books, clothes and take part in a tombola.

In the Summer, we host Open Days at our shelter where the shopping is similar to our bazaars but you get the added bonus of meeting our shelter cats. The winners of our annual raffle are drawn and announced at our July Open Day.

Summer also sees us head to the Edinburgh Meadows Festival where we typically brave the wind, rain and hail (it is summer!) to offer a selection of donated goods while at the same time letting people know about the work that we do.

As the clocks change for the Winter we produce our increasingly popular LCR calendar featuring some of the feline characters of Lothian Cat Rescue
