Donations
We are small, local charity and we receive no government funding. Our work can only continue with the support of the public.
It costs a considerable amount for us to keep going. Our annual food, litter and vets bills alone amount to over £100,000.
Each and every donation makes a difference. On average, we spend over £100 on each cat that comes through our doors before that cat finds its forever home....but just £3 allows us to care for one cat for one day at our shelter. So big or small, each donation is critical.
There are many different way in which you can donate - click on the drop down boxes below for more details.
Gift Aid
If you're a UK taxpayer, Gift Aid increases the value of your donations by 25%, because we can reclaim the basic rate of tax on your gift – at no extra cost to you.
The online donation facility asks you to complete a section about gift aid.
If you plan to donate cash or a cheque directly to the shelter and you would like Gift Aid to apply, please download and complete a Gift Aid declaration and hand it in to us along with your donation.
If you are making a donation in person at our Shelter, please ask for a Gift Aid Declaration.
