What’s involved?

Assisting staff members at our Shelter with:

  • feeding the cats
  • changing litter trays
  • cleaning bedding and the pen areas
  • cleaning/tidying the Shelter communal areas and grounds

Time Commitment

This work is carried out from 9am til midday daily – 365 days a year!

Ideally you can commit to volunteering on a regular basis for at least one day a week.

Requirements

Most importantly – you must be comfortable with our feline friends!

You need to be diligent and happy to follow the instructions and procedures we have in place – these are there to protect both you and the cats!

You must be up to date with your tetanus boosters

Please be aware that there is a good deal of bending and some moderate lifting involved so this may not be the role for you if you have a bad back.
